Our mission is to provide practical Occupational Therapy-led training and consultancy that helps organisations make safe, proportionate decisions and deliver the right support at the right time.

DOTS has grown from more than three decades of Occupational Therapy practice, leadership, service improvement and workforce development.

Founded by Occupational Therapist Odile Waddington-Jones, the organisation began as Dorset Occupational Therapy Services before evolving into DOTS Disability CIC, bringing together Occupational Therapists, disabled people and community partners with a shared commitment to improving accessibility, inclusion and independence.

Today, DOTS Training & Consultancy works with Local Authorities, NHS organisations, housing providers and community services across the UK, delivering trusted assessor training, consultancy and accessibility services that help organisations improve outcomes and build workforce capability.
