Meet Our Founder
Odile Waddington-Jones
DOTS has grown from more than three decades of Occupational Therapy practice, leadership, service improvement and workforce development.
Founded by Occupational Therapist Odile Waddington-Jones, the organisation began as Dorset Occupational Therapy Services before evolving into DOTS Disability CIC, bringing together Occupational Therapists, disabled people and community partners with a shared commitment to improving accessibility, inclusion and independence.
Today, DOTS Training & Consultancy works with Local Authorities, NHS organisations, housing providers and community services across the UK, delivering trusted assessor training, consultancy and accessibility services that help organisations improve outcomes and build workforce capability.

The DOTS Story
Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1995, Odile has over 30 years of experience working across neurological rehabilitation, complex disability, community services, case management and workforce development.
Throughout her career she has worked across health, social care, housing and community services, supporting individuals with complex physical, neurological and cognitive needs while helping organisations improve assessment pathways, equipment provision and rehabilitation outcomes.
Since 2012, Odile has been delivering Trusted Assessor Training nationally and is recognised for helping organisations develop safer, more proportionate approaches to assessment, equipment provision and independent living.
Her work combines clinical expertise, practical problem solving and a commitment to helping organisations deliver the right support at the right time.
